Park New Haven Unveils New Downtown Office Location
Parking Authority Opens New Downtown Customer Service Office inside Temple Street Garage
NEW HAVEN, Conn. — (June 13, 2014) — Park New Haven, which maintains and manages over 8,000 public parking spots across 7 garages and numerous surface facilities in Downtown New Haven, is pleased to announce the opening of a new Downtown Customer Service Office, located at One Temple Street, inside the ground level of Temple Street Garage off of George Street.
The new office will allow Park New Haven to continue to strengthen and improve its accessibility to its customers, especially those who are monthly patrons and work in Downtown New Haven. The location also will allow for better working relationships with the downtown business community, organizations like Town Green Special Services District and the Chamber of Commerce, as well as to continue to provide a high level of security at the Park New Haven downtown facilities – especially the Temple and Crown Street Garages.
“We see this new office, and the shift in moving our Operations and Security Departments from Union Station to downtown, as just another step in ensuring our customers have the best experience possible when they come into our city’s center,” said Acting Executive Director of Park New Haven, David B. Panagore. “Whether that be on a daily basis to travel to their place of business, or someone who is making their first trip to the Elm City, we want to make the experience of parking the easiest and most convenient it can be,” added Panagore.
The unveiling of the new office location will be marked the week of Monday, June 16, 2014 by offering their customers coffee and a special giveaway. The office will also be open for tours, showcasing the new ease of access to Park New Haven for questions, or any assistance customers may need. Monthly parking customers, as well as daily customers are encouraged to attend these Open House events throughout the week from 8 AM to 10 AM, Monday through Friday.
