Park New Haven offers type II electric vehicle charging stations free of charge at many of our garages and surface lots.* For a full list of available locations, click HERE.

*Facility parking fees do apply.

Overnight parking is allowed in all facilities except the Orange/Elm Lot and the Granite Square Garage. However, vehicles are not to be stored in any of our facilities. Generally, storage is defined as any length of time exceeding thirty continuous days.

Our access gates are not equipped to handle vehicles of this size. For the safety of the operator, we cannot allow motorcycles in our gated facilities.

Our website, ParkNewHaven.com, has real-time parking availability for most of our garages. This information is available at the top of the home page and on each individual garage’s web page. For example, you can view the Union Station Garage’s parking availability by clicking here.

Billing FAQ

In addition to paying at our convenient cashier booths when you exit, select Park New Haven garages also feature Pay on Foot Kiosks. These kiosks accept all major credit cards and offer a quicker, easier way to pay for parking.

The following are the kiosk locations inside of each garage:

  • Air Rights Garage: Ground Level (directly opposite hospital entrance skywalk)
  • Union Station Garage: Ground Level (to the left of elevators)

Customer cancellation of monthly parking must be made to Park New Haven in writing. Fifty percent of the advance payment will be refunded if notification is received by Park New Haven by the fifteenth of the month. Refund is also contingent on the return of the keycard/hangtag. No refund of parking fees will be issued if notification is made after the fifteenth of the month. Cancellations can be submitted to: keycard@nhparking.com

Union Station FAQ

There is currently a waiting list for Monthly Parking Permits at the Union Station Garage. New passes are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis as space becomes available.

The Temple Street Garage offers free shuttle service to and from Union Station. The shuttle runs Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 10 PM. For more details, please check our Parking Locator.

Amtrak may be reached at 1 (800) 872-7245.

Metro-North may be reached at 1 (800) 638-7646.

This area has been designed to accommodate bicycles only. We cannot allow gas-operated scooters for safety reasons.
