On-Street Parking

In addition to offering convenient, economical parking in our garages and lots across New Haven, Park New Haven is now partnering with the City of New Haven’s Department of Transportation, Traffic & Parking to provide better on-street parking meter service across the city to both residents and visitors.

All meters in New Haven accept U.S. coins as payment, as well as Parkmobile. Many of the meters throughout the downtown area accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover credit cards. The meters are in effect until 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday (excluding holidays). After 5:00 PM, there are no time limits associated with any meter. Please check each meter for time and rate.
