Parking Validation Program in New Haven

Fast or fancy, local or global—whatever you’re craving, New Haven delivers. And now, it’s easier than ever to enjoy the city’s vibrant food scene thanks to free garage parking. Through the Downtown Restaurants Parking Partnership, Park New Haven has teamed up with a growing list of downtown restaurants to offer free parking in select garages every day after 4 PM. It’s simple: just dine at a participating restaurant and use their easy validation process.
  1. Park your car in the Temple Street Garage, Crown Street Garage, State Street Garage, or Orange/Elm Lot.
  2. Enjoy a meal at a participating Downtown Restaurant.
  3. Ask your server for Validation Card.
  4. Park for free until 3 AM.
** Free parking offer not valid during New Haven Restaurant Week.
